The D4 is an American-made instrument microphone designed primarily for live performance. Characterized with a hypercardioid pickup pattern and a wide frequency response of 40 Hz- 18kHz. The Audix D4 microphone is perfect for bass drum, toms,timpani, piano, and sax. 38Hz-19kHz response, 144dB handling.

Transformerless design, low impedance, and balanced output allow interference- free performance even with long cable runs. A dent-resistant spring steel grill and sound pressure handling capabilities in excess of 140db add to the D4’s road-worthiness.
